NARS Eyeshadow Duo in “Cordura” | Review & Swatches

Hey lovelies! I’m back for another review! Today we are reviewing NARS Eyeshadow duo in “Cordura”. It contains two shadows in a little compact, a shimmering warm rich bronze-brown, and a shimmering dark brown. This was my first NARS purchase, and I am in love! I got it a few months back, so I’ve put quite a dent in it (a non-visible dent), and I’m able to review it now because I’m so familiar with it.

The 0.14 oz compact has the infamous NARS logo printed on the front, has a snap closure, and a rubberized feel to it, as all NARS products normally do. It retails for $35.00 at Sephora and can be worn as shadows, applied wet, and used as liners as well. There are several, several duos in this line. There are greens and blues, ivories and yellows, purples and navy’s, you name it- there’s a shadow duo for every shadow fantasy you’ve ever had. I decided on this one because that bronze shade sold me. I am such a sucker for neutral bronze/brown shades, and this one did not let me down in the tiniest amount.

I don’t know if I’ve ever dipped my brush into shadows that were just so creamy and smooth. There is so much pigmentation in just a tiny bit of shadow, it’s amazing. The only shadows that I can think of that come close are Urban Decay’s, and they have amazing shadows- but these are more pigmented, and so so easily blendable. They blend like a freakin’ dream, people!

Here is a shot of the packaging and shadows:

And here is a makeup look with the left shade all over my lid and the right shade blended into the crease a bit:

The color got a bit washed out while taking pictures outside, but the shadows are seriously vibrant, and since I love neutral colors so much, this one was perfect. You don’t even need anything else to complete an entire makeup look. They wear for the entire day until you take them off, and I didn’t experience any fall out when applying them.

Overall, this duo is a 5/5 and I would pick up more, but I’ve got my eye on those Dual Intensity shadows 🙂 I think I may try those next, but its the price that gets me everytime! Why does NARS have to be so expensive? But anywho, their products are worth the money and they definitely deliver their claims, so bravo to them.

Thanks for tuning in for this review, please feel free to leave any requests below and I will be happy to do them for you.

Take care and have a wonderful day!
Tiffany ❤
