Bite Beauty Lip Mini in Glacé | Review & Swatches!

Hey everybody! I hope everybody is having an amazing day. I am here to review the Bite Beaty Mix N’ Mingle Lip Mini in Glacé. It is sold at Sephora for $12.00 and comes with several other Bite Beauty minis to choose from, ranging from lip pencils to double sided lipsticks to glosses.

Bite Beauty is a brand I’ve heard has grown more popular recently, mostly because of their organic lip products, which they say is actually okay to eat- so if you had a meal with your lipstick or lip gloss on and you were worried about it going into your system, you don’t have to worry because it is formulated with pigments and fruit ingredients that are edible! So technically, I can take a bite right out of this lip pencil! (I won’t. It’s too good.)

So the shade Glacé is described as a dusty mauve shade. You guys know I looove my mauve tones because it pairs so well with my lip color and most of my eye looks, so I had to grab this one.

Here’s a picture of the packaging:

Here is what the pencil looks like:

Here’s a swatch on my NC25-30 skin:

I was worried it was going to be a really small mini, as it is a trial size, but it’s such a perfect size for the money at 0.031 oz. Their High Pigment Pencil retails for $24.00 (0.09 oz) and their lipsticks are $28.00, so I believe $12.00 was an appropriate price point for the amount of product you receive.

I have a love/hate relationship with lip pencils because sometimes I find them to be drying, and they dry out my lips. I love my Mauve lip liner from NYX Cosmetics, but I find most wooden lip pencils, or wooden liners to be particularly drying for the post part. Retractible liners, on the other hand, are quite different, and seem to be more moisturizing.

This lip liner did not disappoint. It glided on so smoothly on my lips, and even seemed to moisturize and plump them up!  You can build on the intensity of the shade to your desired color effect, but I did about two layers and it seemed to do it for me. It left this perfect glossy finish that reflected enough light to make my lips look nice and healthy!

This is what it looks like on my lips:

And here is Glacé paired with MAC Brave:

Overall, I would give this product a 5/5. I was definitely pleasantly surprised at how moisturizing it was, and comfortable to wear. I would say it wore for a good 4 hours before wearing off, and it’s such a joy to apply, I don’t mind to reapply throughout the day! I paired it above with MAC’s Brave, which is quite similar in color, and I think the two shades really complimented each other nicely. So, if you’ve been eyeing this shade or any of the Bite Beauty minis at Sephora, check them out next time you’re there or want to get free shipping for $50, just throw them in your cart- virtual or physical!

I hope you all enjoyed this post, let me know if you have any requests for me and I will be more than happy to do them!

Catch you guys soon, thanks for tuning in. 🙂
