Glambot is a huge blogsale website, selling high end makeup for up to 50% off! Products are sent in that are new, barely used and loved and go through a very legitimate disinfecting, sanitizing process to make sure they are 100% clean and are sold on their site for a discounted price!
And the BEST part is… they are not brands you haven’t heard of, or brands you don’t want to try because they seem inexpensive, they are authentic brand name products from MAC, Too Faced, Tarte, Sigma, Bobbi Brown, Benefit, Anastasia Beverly Hills, and more! Recently, they added indie brands like Lime Crime, OCC and Sugarpill into the mix.

The downside is, though, you have to keep checking back to the site because products go very quickly. And if you surf through the brands, you will see pages and pages of “Sold Out” products, but if you find one you had your eye on, you can add your email to the waiting list, and they will contact you once that product is being sold again.
The products are discounted based on how much is used. There are four categories: 100%, 80%, 50% and 30% based on how much product there is. There are also two conditions: Good and Fair. If there is barely any left or the product has been used and abused, Glambot will choose not to sell it. The categories and discounted prices are pretty standard and easily understood. If there is 80-100% left, the price will be around $2-4 off roughly, and sometimes it depends on the product itself.
Sometimes, Glambot does sales on the already discounted products. For Christmas and New Years, they had products for up to 80% off! A $20 The Balm Hot Mama blush was discounted to only $8! So watch out for flash sales on top of the flash sales. Jeez, that’s a lot of flashing and sales.
Selling Your Makeup
We’re all makeup hoarders, aren’t we? It’s okay to admit! I definitely am one to an extreme amount. But sometimes, we have products we literally only tested or swatched once or twice, and lost the receipt to return. Or perhaps we received makeup products as gifts, but know we won’t be using them.
Whatever the case may be, Glambot will accept your gently used makeup and in return, pay you through a Paypal account, or turn it into Glambot credit!

- Make sure the product is an approved brand (Approved brands list here)
- Sell at least ten products
- Bubble wrap each product individually
- Depot each eyeshadow pan from palette if possible
- Place in original retail packaging (if available)
- Pack products to fill box completely
- Ship it off with the free shipping label!

Here’s how my personal experience went:
I sent in a bunch of makeup, took an old box, bubbled wrapped each product individually and packed the box to the brim. I didn’t know how to depot eyeshadows and the palettes I had didn’t make the process seem any easier, so I thought it would be best not to try, I didn’t want to ruin anything. I packed up the box and taped everything down well, and added some extra bubble wrap to the top so nothing would get ruined during shipping. I dropped the box off at my local UPS store, and around 4 days later, I received an email saying thank you for the products. The total came out to $38.00. I was then asked if I wanted to receive the money through a Paypal transaction, or for it to be turned into Glambot credit. I figured if I had the cash, I could just pick and choose what I wanted if I wanted anything, and if not, why not have the cash anyway? So I just sent them my PayPal email and within three hours, the $38.00 was in my Paypal account. Here’s a receipt of my transaction in case there were any skeptics of the site:
